What I Learned From My Grandmother
As a young girl, I lived with my Grandmother, a gracious, hard-working and compassionate woman. By example, she taught me how she lived a full and rewarding life. Here are some of the principles that she lived by: Always put in an honest day's work for a day's pay. It is better to give than to receive. Do it right the first time. Help your neighbor in a time of need. Above all, always practice the Golden Rule.
What I Learned From My Dog
There cannot possibly be a happier being than a big, goofy Labrador Retriever. Watching my dog I've learned: It pays to be loyal and obedient. Always be optimistic because there's something wonderful waiting just around the corner. Seize every opportunity. Play like there's no tomorrow.
