Commitment to Community

At Windermere Stellar, community is important and giving to the community is essential.

Windermere Foundation

The local chapter of the Windermere Foundation, made up of Co-chairs Joan Allen and Teri Beatty, as well as representatives from each of Windermere Stellar's ten Oregon offices, work closely with company Brokers and local nonprofit organizations to support low-income children and families. Together, we have raised and donated more than $2.8 million to more than 153 nonprofit agencies through the Windermere Foundation. More...

All Windermere brokers donate a portion of their commissions to the Windermere Foundation, which supports programs for homeless and low‐income children and families. To read more about the Windermere Foundation, click here. For the Windermere Foundation blog, click here.

Current Fundraising Campaign

In 2014 the Windermere Foundation committed to raise $250,000 for Friends of the Children, a nonprofit organization that identifies the area's most vulnerable youth and matches them with a paid, professional mentor from Kindergarten through high school graduation. This commitment helped build a new facility in East Multnomah County where youth can come to feel safe and secure, providing them a sense of home. More.

 Community Service Day

Every year in June, Windermere Brokers and staff gather on one day to serve in the community in a special way. Community Service Day is a work day where our work is wholly devoted to local neighborhood projects. From cleaning up schools and local neighbors yards to serving at Food Banks and more, these projects improve the quality of life for those in our communities and give us an opportunity to work together.  More...
